BACKGROUND: 

 

City Council is asked to approve the renewal of property, liability, and excess worker’s compensation insurance policy through Public Risk Insurance Agency (“PRIA”) for FY2022. The City has received a renewal notice, at the premium of $1,100,266.00 for FY2022.

 

The detailed premium breakout for FY2022 and comparison with the previous year is attached to this agenda item.

 

FUNDING SOURCE / FISCAL IMPACT: 

All premiums have been included in the proposed FY2022 budget.

 

RECOMMENDATION:

Authorize the City Manager to renew property and liability insurance policy with PRIA for FY2022.

 

POTENTIAL MOTION:  “I move to authorize the City Manager to renew property and liability insurance policy with PRIA for FY2022 in the amount of $1,100,266.00.”
