Presentation of court resurfacing options for the Marco Island Racquet Center clay tennis court number 8.

BACKGROUND:
Marco Island Racquet Center clay tennis court number 8 is currently in need of getting resurfaced. This court has historically experienced issues with its Cal Cap underground irrigation system that is approximately 15 plus years old. This system is antiquated and is not recommended for new installations within the industry. The City has experienced several irrigation issues with this system on both courts 7 & 8, which can cause accelerated deterioration of the clay material over time.
There are nine (9) potential options available for the resurfacing of clay court #8:
FUNDING SOURCE / FISCAL IMPACT: Potential resurfacing option costs range from $7,700.00 to $93,000.00 depending on the option selected.
