Appointment to the Collier County Coastal Advisory Committee

BACKGROUND:
The Collier County Coastal Advisory Committee (CAC) was established in 2001 to assist the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) with its unified beach erosion control and inlet management programs, and advise the BCC and the Tourist Development Council (TDC) of project priorities with respect to funding sources that are available for restoration and protection of our shoreline.
The nine member CAC is composed of three members from the unincorporated area of Collier County, three members from the City of Naples, and three members from the City of Marco Island.
The current CAC members representing the City of Marco Island are: Councilor Erik Brechnitz, Mr. Stephen Koziar and Mr. Bob Roth. Mr. Koziar’s appointment to the committee expires on May 22, 2021.
The appointment to the CAC has been advertised locally utilizing news and social media. Applications have been received from the following interested candidates:
James Eby
Ben Farnsworth
Don Henderson
River Jones
Stephen Koziar (current appointee)
