Resolution Approving Appointments to the Audit Advisory Committee

BACKGROUND:
Section 2-204 of the City Code of Ordinances provides for the appointment of members to the City’s boards and committees. Members of the Audit Advisory Committee (AAC) serve staggered terms that run concurrently with the terms of the offices of the appointing City Council members, commencing on June 1 following the election of the appointing City Councilor.
The appointments have been advertised locally utilizing news and social media. Applications have been received from the following interested candidates:
Hayden Dublois
Robert Hughes (current appointee)
Elle Hunt
River Jones
Marjorie Ligelis
Peter Marascio
William Rogers (current appointee)
Glenn Turner
The order of nominations will be alphabetical: Councilor Blonna, Chair Grifoni, Councilor Irwin and Councilor Rola.
At the conclusion of the nominations, Council will vote to approve the resolution, thus confirming the appointments.

RECOMMENDATION: Approval of the City Council’s Audit Advisory Committee appointments.
