BACKGROUND: At a recent meeting of the Marco Island City Council, Chair Jared Grifoni requested that the Beautification Advisory Committee look into the possibility of building upon last year’s successful artistic “Utility Box Creative Wrap” contest and program by looking into the feasibility of pursuing an artistic / creative public mural program for Marco Island.
At the March 3, 2021 meeting of the Beautification Advisory Committee, Member Nesmith, with the assistance of Committee Chair Connelly, agree to take the lead in gathering additional, relevant information upon which to develop an appropriate Committee recommendation for City Council consideration.
