Selection of Three (3) Finalists for the City Council Appointment

BACKGROUND:
Following the resignation of Councilor Victor Rios, City Council agreed to the following process to fill the vacancy:
1. Ask interested candidates to submit their on-line application and resume to the City Clerk no later than November 16, 2020.
2. Narrow the list of applicants to three (3) finalists at meeting on November 19 at 5:30 p.m.
3. Schedule individual appointments for councilors to interview each finalist during the week of November 23-27. (Note: November 26 is Thanksgiving.)
4. Schedule the vote for the appointment at the December 7, 2020 meeting.
