Conveyance of Sewer Facilities from Marco Island Academy to the City of Marco Island

BACKGROUND:
Recently, Marco Island Academy (MIA) has been constructing new facilities on their property and have hooked into the City’s gravity sanitary sewer collection system. MIA is conveying ownership to the City of Marco Island of the sanitary sewer equipment and distribution lines including an 8" diameter sewer pipe approximately 10' in length located within the twelve-foot utility easement as outlined in the attached Bill of Sale.
FUNDING SOURCE / FISCAL IMPACT: N / A
RECOMMENDATION:
The City accepts ownership of the sanitary sewer and distribution lines located within the twelve-foot utility easement as outlined in the Bill of Sale.
POTENTIAL MOTION:
“I move to accept the ownership of the sanitary sewer and distribution lines located within the twelve foot utility easement located between Lots 9 & 8 Block 427, a replat of a portion of Marco Beach Unit Fifteen, according to the Plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 8, page 45, as recorded in the Public Records of Collier County Florida.”
