Resolution Creating the Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee (PRAC) to Provide Recommendations to the City Council
Body
BACKGROUND:
The City’s advisory committees were created by consensus of prior City Council’s without written direction by Council regarding the committee’s scope of responsibility. To maximize efficiencies, each committee will be submitted a revised list of duties for Council’s review and approval.
At the meeting of May 19, 2020, the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee voted 7-0 to recommend Council approval of the attached resolution. Committee minutes attached.
FUNDING SOURCE / FISCAL IMPACT: N / A
RECOMMENDATION: Staff has reviewed the proposed Resolution and recommends adoption.
POTENTIAL MOTION: “I move to approve Resolution 20-14.”
