Approving the Purchase Order for Hole Montes, Inc., for the Survey and Design of the Inlet Drive Shared Use Pathway Project, in an amount not to exceed $135,700.00.

BACKGROUND:
The Inlet Drive Pathway Project has been a major part of the Public Works Department and the Bike Committee Master Plan for several years. Included in this project will be an 8-ft. wide concrete shared use pathway on Inlet Drive from Addison Ct. to Travida Terrace. This pathway is a continuation of a previous years grant project and will provide access to the Otter Mound site. The construction of this project will be funded by a grant from the Florida Department of Transportation in the amount of $411,781.00.
Hole Montes, Inc. is an approved engineering service provider under our current engineering Services Contract No. 19-012.
FUNDING SOURCE / FISCAL IMPACT:
Funding for this survey and design portion of the project will come from the Public Works FY19 Capital Improvement Program recurring funding account No. 3035410-606300-19059, which contains $135,700.00 for this pathway survey and design.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff has reviewed the proposal and the scope of the work and recommends that the City Council authorize the City Manager to prepare and approve the Purchase Order to Hole Montes, Inc. in the amount not to exceed $135,700.00.
