Resolution Creating a Waterways Advisory Committee to Provide Recommendations

BACKGROUND:
The City Council believes it is in the best interest of the community to garner citizen input and advice through a variety of boards and committees.
The City’s advisory committees were created by consensus of prior City Council’s without written direction by Council regarding the committee’s scope of responsibility. To maximize efficiencies, each committee will be submitting a revised list of duties for Council’s review and approval.
At the meeting of June 20, 2019, the Waterways Advisory Committee voted 5-0 to recommend approval of the attached resolution.
FUNDING SOURCE / FISCAL IMPACT: N / A
RECOMMENDATION: Staff has reviewed the proposed Resolution and recommends adoption.
POTENTIAL MOTION: “I move to approve Resolution 19-25.”
