Calusa Park Butterfly Garden Irrigation Status Update (S. Connelly)

BACKGROUND: At the Committee’s March 6, 2024 meeting, Vice-Chair Shelli Connelly reported that the Committee's effort to assist in relocating the water line and spigot in support of the butterfly garden at Calusa Park overlapped with a similar initiative by the Calusa Garden Club with members of the City's Fleet & Facilities Department.
Identifying that the total cost to implement the desired changes at Calusa Park was estimated at $533.00, Vice-Chair Connelly requested the Committee's consideration in, perhaps, offering to fund up to one-half of the estimated cost, with the Calusa Garden Club funding the remaining half. The Committee voted to approve the $266.50 expenditure.
Vice-Chair Connelly volunteered to bring an update to the Committee at its April meeting.
