BACKGROUND:
Presented and budget approved during the FY24 budget session. This would provide redundant connectivity to our North, South and Raw Water & Sewer Plants, including Mackle Park. New connectivity at both ends of Marco Islands bridge points on 951, Veterans Park and Winterberry Park locations, enabling the integration of security cameras, Wi-Fi, and centrally managed access control systems.
Note, portions of the agreement has been redacted per 119.0725(2) F.S. public records exemption of cybersecurity information.
FUNDING SOURCE / FISCAL IMPACT:
This expense is split between the General Fund, Water & Sewer Enterprise Fund, and Building Services Enterprise Fund at approximately 60/30/10 split. All the necessary funds are included in the FY24 budget.
RECOMMENDATION:
Authorize the City Manager to sign the agreement for a three-year term - $69,600/year - three-year agreement total: $208,800. One-time non-recurring of $65,000 (Installation fee, running, installing and terminating fiber)
