BACKGROUND:

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Bayshore Marine Consulting, LLC. has submitted, on behalf of Rachel C. Mishka Trust (the “Owner”), a petition for approval to reconstruct an existing boat house at the above-referenced property. The proposal is to allow for the reconstruction of a pre-incorporation boat house which was not issued a building permit pursuant to Sec. 54-116(b)(3). The petition, plans, and narrative are attached.

FUNDING SOURCE / FISCAL IMPACT: Applicant has paid $1,500.00 in applicable fees.

PUBLIC NOTICE REQUIREMENTS: 15 days prior to Planning Board meeting

Staff recommend the Planning Board forward a recommendation for approval to the City Council.

Findings:

The reconstructed boathouse will have side riparian setbacks of 54 feet and 64 feet, respectively.
The existing boathouse protrudes 25.6’...
