BACKGROUND:
As presented and approved at the City Council’s budget workshop, the fee amendment to Building Services fees.
The attached resolution updates the fees for Building Services. The last amendment to the fee schedule occurred in October 2022. Since then, the U.S. Labor Department’s Bureau of Labor Statistics has published a cumulative inflation rate calculator, which shows that the fees should be increased by at least 12 percent. The attached Resolution provides for the 12 percent increase.
Owner’s Use of Private Provider Services discount pursuant to F.S. 553.79, and a fee for a Beach Kiosk permit is also included.
