Proclamation - Hunger Action Month September 2024

BACKGROUND:
Our Daily Bread Food Pantry on Marco Island was established in 2016, with a vision to eliminate hunger and promote well-being.
In acknowledgement of Hunger Action Month, Our Daily Bread Food Pantry is planning a month long Hunger Campaign to raise awareness and invite the community to join them in supporting their vision of “Working to Wipe Out Hunger”. Some planned events include multiple food drives, Visual Displays throughout Marco Island, and presentations to various clubs/groups on the local need.
The proclamation will be presented to Evelyn Rossetti-Ryan, Executive Director, and Allyson Richards, Chair, of Our Daily Bread Food Pantry, as well as several Board Members and volunteers who will be in attendance.
