BACKGROUND:
At the November 18, 2025, City Council meeting, the Audit Advisory Committee provided their recommendations of revising the Committee’s responsibilities and qualifications. Council agreed with the Audit Advisory Committee’s recommendation.
In addition to their on-going responsibilities of advising on the City’s audit, the Committee may also provide advise on Financial Reporting, Performance Insights, Internal Controls and Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management.
FUNDING SOURCE / FISCAL IMPACT: No budget impact.
RECOMMENDATION: Approval of Resolution 26-01.
POTENTIAL MOTION: “I move to approve Resolution 26-01.”
