BACKGROUND: At the Marco Island Community Parks Foundation Meeting of January 21, 2026, Foundation Vice-Chair Rene Champagne proposed that a joint Workshop with the City of Marco Island Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee (PRAC) be scheduled to jointly review the City of Marco Island Parks Master Plan to identify and discuss potential future fund-raising priorities for the Foundation to consider.
FUNDING SOURCE / FISCAL IMPACT: TBD
PUBLIC NOTICE REQUIREMENTS: A “Notice of Public Meeting” was issued by the City of Marco Island on March 4, 2026.
RECOMMENDATION: Review potential opportunities and engage in dialogue with members of the City of Marco Island Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee (PRAC).
