Tree City USA Budget Allocation and Application History Review (F. Winter/J. McDonald)

BACKGROUND: At the Committee’s April 3, 2024 meeting, new member Fiona Winter requested that a discussion of the City's budget allocation and application history with Tree City USA be added to the Committee's agenda. She indicated her willingness to gather information in advance of the Committee’s discussion. Material regarding this topic was emailed to members of the Committee on Monday, May 13th.
In support of this forthcoming discussion, Member Julie McDonald also volunteered to reach out to one or more former Beautification Advisory Committee members who spearheaded the Committee's previous engagements with Tree City USA to obtain whatever information and/or insight that may be available to share with Member Winter and the Committee prior to its discussion of this topic.

RECOMMENDATION: Receive Member Winter’s report.
POTENTIAL MOTION: I move that the Committee pursue the recommendations presented.
