BACKGROUND: 

 

At the October 2, 2023 City Council meeting, Vice-Chairman Grifoni presented a white paper proposing a title change of Chairman to Mayor and Vice-Chairman to Vice-Mayor to be voted on by the residents and selected/appointed by the Council members. The first reading of the ordinance took place on December 4, 2023.

 

 

FUNDING SOURCE / FISCAL IMPACT:  No financial impact.

 

 

RECOMMENDATION:  Approval of Ordinance 24-02 on second reading.

 

 

POTENTIAL MOTION:  “I move approval of Ordinance 24-02  on second reading.”
