BACKGROUND:
Michael Poff of Coastal Engineering will present a proposal for Coastal Engineering Consultants, Inc. to help the City of Marco Island and the Hideaway Beach District collect five vibracores from the Offshore Borrow Area and complete the laboratory testing and core logging needed to confirm that the sediment is suitable for future beach nourishment at Hideaway Beach and Sand Dollar Island.
FUNDING SOURCE / FISCAL IMPACT: $49,355.00 - Professional Services
RECOMMENDATION: Receive proposal determine the Board’s next steps.
