Approval of Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) to Provide School Resource Officers of Marco Island Schools - Tracy Frazzano, Police Chief

BACKGROUND:
These Memorandums of Understanding are by and between the District School Board of Collier County, the Marco Island City Council, and the Marco Island Police Department for the 2026 school year, to provide security services to Tommie Barfield Elementary School, Marco Island Charter Middle School, and Marco Island Academy.
FUNDING SOURCE / FISCAL IMPACT: Amounts paid to the City are based on a State Funding Formula for students enrolled at the school sites as of October 31, 2025.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Memorandum of Understanding as presented.
POTENTIAL MOTION: I move to approve the Memorandums of Understanding for the 2026 school year.
