BACKGROUND:
In November 2025, City Council agreed to hold a workshop in January 2026 to identify 3-5 goals for Council to focus on throughout the year in 2026. These goals will become the workplan for City staff, and will assist the Council in evaluating the Interim City Manager as well as recruiting for a permanent City Manager.
This workshop will also help the Council achieve alignment and move forward in the new year in one direction. Organizations that area aligned in their priorities are 72% more effective at achieving their goals and navigating challenges.
