BACKGROUND:
During the September 22, 2025, City Council meeting, Council members agreed that Council representatives would provide monthly updates of the Committee or Organization they represent on behalf of Marco Island:
• Tourist Development Council (TDC),scheduled for monthly meetings - Councilor Darrin Palumbo
• Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), scheduled for monthly meetings - Councilor Bonita Schwan
• Collier County Coastal Advisory Committee (CAC), scheduled for monthly meetings - Chairman Erik Brechnitz
• Southwest Florida League of Cities, scheduled for quarterly meetings - Councilor Stephen Gray
