2027 Waterways Advisory Meeting Calendar

BACKGROUND:
The Waterways Advisory Committee is presented with the meeting dates for 2027.
At the June 15, 2026 City Council meeting, council members reviewed and discussed how often Advisory Committees should be required to meet each year. Following that discussion, the Council unanimously approved a revised structure that updates the meeting schedule framework for all committees.
Under the new guidelines, each Advisory Committee may hold nine regular monthly meetings per calendar year, along with up to two workshops. Workshops may only be scheduled once the Committee has identified a specific topic it intends to focus on.
Committees have the flexibility to choose which months they meet. However, the Council strongly encourages all committees to incorporate a three‑month summer hiatus when planning their 2027 calendars.
FUNDING SOURCE / FISCAL IMPACT: N / A
RECOMMENDATION: Review and discuss the attached meeting dates for 2027. Remove three of the listed date options from calendar.
