BACKGROUND: The attached resolution will authorize the city manager to execute an agreement that stipulates that the funding split will be 75% Federal / 25% Local with the City’s share of the design cost being $265,371.
This bridge is structurally deficient and in need of replacement.
FUNDING SOURCE / FISCAL IMPACT: Funds for this project are available in the General Fund FY24 Capital Budget Accounts for Bridge Replacement 300-5400-5410-606300-16025
RECOMMENDATION: Approve Resolution 24-06, authorizing the City Manager to execute a locally funded agreement with the State of Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) to provide a deposit to FDOT in the amount of $265,371 for 25% of the estimated design cost of the replacement of the Caxambas Court Bridge (FPID#: 445460-1-21-01) and for providing an effective date.
