BACKGROUND:
During the June 15, 2026, City Council Meeting, Councilor Kevin Dohm brought forward his thoughts for starting council meeting earlier in the day.
Council requested the City Staff to investigate and provide a recommendation on the feasibility of moving to an earlier time for future regular meetings of the Marco Island City Council.
Included is a whitepaper from Councilor Kevin Dohm regarding the impact of fatigue on workplace performance and, a staff recommendation from City Manager, Casey Lucius, Ph.D. for scheduled starting times for Council meetings

RECOMMENDATION: Discuss and provide direction to staff regarding the recommendation.
