2025 Committee Meeting Schedule

BACKGROUND: During the 2024 calendar year, the Committee scheduled twelve (12), once-per-month meetings on the first Wednesday of the month, beginning at 3:00 P.M. Through the first nine months of 2024, the Committee successfully seated a quorum in six of those months, with meetings being cancelled in February, May, and August for lack of a quorum.
As the Committee looks ahead to calendar year 2025, the opportunity exists to:
1) Determine if once-per-month meetings is an appropriate meeting cadence;
2) Consider a possible summer hiatus from regular Committee meetings;
3) Identify the need or desire for scheduled Committee Workshop(s), and;
4) Confirm whether the first Wednesday of the month at 3:00 PM is the preferred meeting day and time for this Committee
Attached are tentative Committee dates under a continued monthly, twelve month, first Wednesday of the month schedule for the Committee’s consideration.
FUNDING SOURCE / FISCAL IMPACT: N / A
RECOMMENDATION: Review, discuss, and initiate a Motion to adopt the attached or an alternative Committee meeting schedule for calendar year 2025.
