BACKGROUND:
On January 5, 2026, Council approved the internal recruitment process; on February 2, 2026, Council approved the City Manager Search Timeline Process and Job Description. On April 6, 2026, the City Council approved proceeding with interviews and reference checks of the top ranked candidates as the next phase of the City Manager recruitment process.
FUNDING SOURCE / FISCAL IMPACT: N/A
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Council identify its preferred candidate for appointment and schedule discussion and potential action at the May 18, 2026, Council meeting.
