BACKGROUND: The Beautification Advisory Committee is being restricted by both Water & Sewer and LCEC from planting trees on Leland Way due to utility policies and restrictions. The Committee is pursuing clarification and exceptions, if possible, while also pursuing potential policies to emphasize high-visibility and walkable paths along the cul-de-sacs.
Joe is reporting on meetings with Water & Sewer and Public Works about clarification on utility-based restrictions and alternative paths for tree planting in Leland Way
