Proclamation - National Safe Boating Week: May 16 - 22, 2026

BACKGROUND:
National Safe Boating Week is May 16-22, 2026. Each year multiple organizations work together to promote a campaign focused on recreational boating safety.
Members from the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 95, Marco Island, and the Marco Island Sail and Power Squadron have educated many Marco Island community members and visitors on safe boating practices and how they can improve their boating skills.
Frank Ciriello, Flotilla Vice Commander, U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 95 and James Addison, Executive Officer, Marco Island Sail & Power Squadron will be on hand to accept the proclamation.
