BACKGROUND: The “proposed changes to advisory committee meetings” topic was added to the Beautification Advisory Committee agenda at the June 3, 2026 meeting after Vice-Chair Scherzinger noted that a memo from the City Manager, Dr. Lucius, to City Council-appearing on the recent Council agenda-outlined potential changes to the frequency of all advisory committee meetings, including BAC. During approval of the agenda, Vice-chair Scherzinger specifically requested that this memo and its implications be added as a new business item so the committee would be aware of it and could consider its operational impact. Marv agreed to include it under new business, and the committee then approved the agenda as amended, thereby formally adding the item for that meeting.
