BACKGROUND:
An increase in rates is necessary to help offset rising operating costs, including wages, utilities and equipment. The proposed fees are comparable to those charged by similar farmers markets throughout Southwest Florida.
FUNDING SOURCE / FISCAL IMPACT: Fees collected will help offset the costs to run and operate the Farmers Market.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve Resolution 26-31.
