Resolution - Amending Existing Fees for the Parks & Recreation Facilities - Samantha Malloy, Manager of Parks, Culture & Recreation

Body

BACKGROUND

Parks and Recreation fees were last updated on August 16, 2022.  An increase in rates is necessary to help offset rising operational costs, including wages, utilities, equipment, and other expenses associated with operating and maintaining our facilities and programs.

FUNDING SOURCE / FISCAL IMPACT:  Revenue collected from the updated fees will help offset the costs to operate and maintain Parks and Recreation facilities and programs.

RECOMMENDATION:  Staff recommends approval of the resolution adopting changes to the existing fee schedule for Parks and Recreation facilities and programs.

POTENTIAL MOTION:  “I move to approve Resolution 26-48.”
