BACKGROUND: 

During the May 21, 2026 meeting, Member Woodworth presented a White Paper outlining potential priorities and actions related to the Marco Island Landscape Ordinance. If adopted, these recommendations would fall under the broader “water quality” priority previously approved by the Committee.
On September 17, 2026, he presented a draft proposal based on the White Paper. The Committee voted for him to make final revisions and return with an updated version for approval before the document is forwarded to City Council.

RECOMMENDATION: Review proposal. Determine Committee’s next steps.
