BACKGROUND:
The Septic Tank Replacement Project (STRP), constructed between 2005 and 2012, installed manholes and sanitary sewer mains within and beneath roadway travel lanes. Over time, pavement around these structures has settled due to insufficient compaction, resulting in bumps, dips, and uneven driving conditions.
This project addresses these deficiencies by locally milling, repaving, and compacting pavement around affected manholes, as well as filling roadway depressions to improve overall ride quality and safety. While this work will not resolve all settlement-related issues, it will mitigate several of the most significant problem areas until those roads can be repaved.
The City advertised Invitation to Bid (ITB) 2026-001 on October 12, 2025, and received five (5) bids on November 12, 2025, as shown below:
