BACKGROUND:
Councilor Rola is appointing Elena J. McFann to the Audit Advisory Committee to fill a vacancy for the term ending June 1, 2025. Resume is attached.
The Audit Advisory Committee was established by the City Council in 2020 and serves in an advisory capacity to the City Council to select the City’s external auditor. The committee also evaluates financial statements, audit results, corrective action plans, and internal accounting controls.
FUNDING SOURCE / FISCAL IMPACT: No budget impact.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve Resolution 24-01.
POTENTIAL MOTION: “I move to approve Resolution 24-01, appointing Elena J. McFann to the Audit Advisory Committee.”
