BACKGROUND: 

 

Section 2-204 of the City Code of Ordinances provides for the appointment of members to the City’s boards and committees.   

 

Four Audit Advisory Committee members have terms that expire June 1, 2025.  The City announced the application period through social media, press releases, and the City Website.   

 

The following nominations are:

 

•                     Vice-Chairman Gray - Thomas Fontana

•                     Councilor Goehler - Teri Sommerfeld

•                     Councilor Henry - Jeffrey Michaels

•                     Councilor Schwan - Elena McFann

Terms for the appointed individuals will be until June 1, 2029.

RECOMMENDATION: 

 

Approval of Resolution 25-27 appointing Mr. Thomas Fontana, Ms. Teri Sommerfeld, Mr. Jeffrey Michaels, and Ms. Elena McFann to the Audit Advisory Committee.
