Assignment of Waterways Committee Subject Area Leaders

BACKGROUND: Vice-Chair Martin Winter will lead a discussion with the Committee on the identification and assignment of Subject Area Leaders for certain waterways-related topics and areas of focus. Among the potential areas of focus include:
- Water Quality and Related Issues
- Conservation Initiatives
- Navigation in and Around Marco Island
- Navigational Markers
- Dredging and Channel Navigability
- Seawall Regulations, Permits and Related Concerns
- Public Education Efforts
FUNDING SOURCE / FISCAL IMPACT: N / A
RECOMMENDATION: Participate in the discussion, confirm and/or add to potential areas of focus for Committee consideration, and volunteer to accept one or more areas of assignment.
