Cul-de-Sac Irrigation & Autoflusher Info for Neighborhoods (M. Needles)

BACKGROUND: At the Committee’s December 4, 2024 meeting, Water & Sewer Department General Manager Jeff Poteet joined Public Works Director Justin Martin in provided information regarding the "auto flushers" in certain neighborhood cul-de-sacs that periodically activate and which could provide a partial irrigation solution for neighborhoods that wish to beautify and maintain their cul-de-sac plantings.
At the Committee’s January 8, 2025 meeting, Committee Member Marv Needles requested an opportunity to share information that he learned in personally arranging to provide irrigation to his property’s facing cul-de-sac.
Member Needles will share his insights at the Committee’s February 5, 2025 meeting.
The Committee may subsequently identify a Committee member who might wish to revise or create information for residents who may wish to support the beautification of their cul-de-sacs with underground-supplied irrigation.

RECOMMENDATION: Receive Member Needles’ report; determine the Committee’s next steps.
