BACKGROUND: 

 

June 1st marks the beginning of the 2026 Atlantic Hurricane Season. The City Council will receive a presentation concerning the hurricane season forecast and the City’s emergency preparedness plan of action involving preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation efforts.
