Review of Proposed Policy for Banners on City Light Poles (All)

BACKGROUND: At the Committee’s June 4, 2025 meeting, Director Martin advised the Committee of his intention to advance a draft policy on the display of banners on City light poles for City Council review in the August timeframe. Chair Needles requested that a draft of the policy be provided to the Committee prior to the issuance of the Committee's July Agenda.
Director Martin requested that the Committee review, provide input to, and, potentially, endorse his draft at its July 9, 2025 meeting.
FUNDING SOURCE / FISCAL IMPACT: None expected.
RECOMMENDATION: Receive Director Martin’s draft; review and provide input; vote on endorsing its presentation to the Marco Island City Council.
POTENTIAL MOTION: I move that the proposed draft policy on the display of banners on City light poles be approved (or approved as amended).
