Funding Update: Beautification of “First Responders Park” and the City’s Beach Access Pathways (S. Connelly)

BACKGROUND: At the Committee’s December 6, 2023 Meeting, Vice-Chair Connelly advised the Committee of City Fleet & Facilities Manager Miguel Carballo's intention to include "First Responders Park" in his effort to solicit State grants to improve the appearance, safety, and accommodation of the Winterberry Drive Public Beach Access pathway.
At the Committee’s January 10, 2024 Meeting, she volunteered to reach out to Manager Carballo to obtain and report on the status of his effort to obtain funding for both projects.

RECOMMENDATION: Receive Vice-Chair Connelly’s report.
