Appointment of Mr. Bob Roth to the Coastal Advisory Committee (CAC) of Collier County, Florida - Joan Taylor, City Clerk

BACKGROUND:
The Collier Coastal Advisory Committee, CAC, was established in 2001 by Collier County Ordinance 2001-03. The purpose of this committee is to assist the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) with its unified beach erosion control and inlet management programs and advise the BCC and the Tourist Development Council (TDC) of project priorities with respect to funding sources that are available for restoration and protection of our shoreline. The nine-member CAC is composed of three members from the unincorporated area of Collier County, three members from the City of Naples, and three members from the City of Marco Island. Meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month at 1:00 p.m.
The current CAC members representing the City of Marco Island are Mr. Steve Koziar, Mr. Bob Roth and Council Vice-Chair Erik Brechnitz.
The term for Mr. Bob Roth expires on May 22, 2024. Interested persons applied through Collier County’s Advisory Board application process. Applications were collected from March 4, 2024 - April 8, 2024. One applicant, Mr. Bob Roth, applied for the position.
