BACKGROUND:
On January 5, 2026, Council approved the internal recruitment process; on February 2, 2026, Council approved the City Manager Search Timeline Process and Job Description. The April 6, 2026, meeting is to review the candidate rankings and approve next steps to include reference checks and interview coordination.

RECOMMENDATION:
Recommend Council review the submitted rankings, reach consensus on the 5 top candidates, and direct Human Resources Director to conduct reference checks prior to scheduling interviews.
