BACKGROUND: In alignment with City Council direction, and led by Councilor Blonna (see File ID 23-2887 White Paper presented at the June 19, 2023 City Council Meeting and other related documents), a standardized “City Council Communication” agenda item has been added to City Advisory Committee agendas immediately after “Staff Communications” to allow for each Committee’s City Council Liaison or other City Council member(s) an opportunity to provide insight and/or discuss City Council-approved direction with members of the Advisory Committee.
