Resolution - Reappointment of Dustin Nesmith to the Beautification Advisory Committee - Joan Taylor, City Clerk

BACKGROUND:
The City has a policy for Committees (Section 2-206 of the Code of Ordinances) in that if a member misses 30% of a meeting scheduled during the year, that member shall vacate the position and another person will be appointed to fill that spot. The City Council defined 30% of most Committee meetings to be 3 meetings.
Mr. Dustin Nesmith was absent from three (3) of the Beautification Advisory Committee meetings in 2024 (February 7, May 1 and June 5).
Mr. Nesmith has written a letter requesting the City Council to reappoint him to the Beautification Advisory Committee. During his term, he has been an active contributor with the Committee.
FUNDING SOURCE / FISCAL IMPACT: N / A
RECOMMENDATION: Approve Resolution 24-47 and reappoint Dustin Nesmith to the Beautification Advisory Committee.
