Re-Consideration of May 4, 2026 Council Action on the Winterberry Beach Access Boardwalk Replacement Project

BACKGROUND: At the Council’s May 4, 2026 meeting, the Council voted 4 - 2 to fully fund the replacement of the Winterberry Beach Access Boardwalk in the amount of $849,000.00 (Agenda Item 16a).
As a Councilor having voted with the majority on this item, Councilor Gray, at the next (May 18, 2026) City Council meeting, raised questions and identified information that he believed should have been provided to, and considered by, the Council prior to its vote on this boardwalk replacement project.
FUNDING SOURCE / FISCAL IMPACT: $849,000.00.
RECOMMENDATION: None.
