Award of Contracts to Juniper Landscaping of Florida, LLC and Superior Landscaping & Lawn Service, Inc. for City Landscape Maintenance - Angela Johenning, Purchasing & Risk Manager
Body

BACKGROUND:
The City's contract with our existing Landscape Maintenance provider will expire on September 30, 2025. The last time this contract went out to bid was July 24, 2019, and a contract was awarded to Affordable Landscaping Services & Design, LLC in the amount of $980,700. As of the last and final contract renewal, the contract was valued at $1,159,076.13 annually, not including As Needed landscape services.

This procurement was published well ahead of the existing contract expiration in order to help facilitate the budgeting process. The resulting contracts will be effective beginning October 1, 2025. The contracts will be for an initial three (3) year term, with a possibility of three (3) one (1) year renewals.

The solicitation was broadcast to 749 vendors, 18 of whom downloaded the bid package. The City received 5 bids on April 23, 2025. One bid was disqualified due to required page...
