Award of Contract for Ajax Paving Industries of Florida, LLC to Resurface Both Parking Lots at Winterberry Park in the Amount of $71,893.63 - Joe Parrilli, Manager, Fleet & Facilities

BACKGROUND:
The city owns and maintains two public parking lots that provide service to Winterberry Park. We are currently seeking to have these lots resurfaced by Ajax Paving Industries of Florida, LLC. The resurfacing process will involve a 1-inch grind and repave, along with the installation of new parking blocks where needed and the repainting of parking stalls.
FUNDING SOURCE / FISCAL IMPACT:
The Ajax Paving proposal will be funded through the park’s capital accounts. A total of $41,926.22 will be allocated from account 16080 (Parks Re-pavement - Winterberry Parking), with the remaining $29,967.41 to be sourced from account 24050 (Leigh Plummer Parking Lot Re-pavement). Pricing referenced under contract 2023-029 public infrastructure construction services.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommend awarding the contract to Ajax Paving Industries of Florida LLC in the amount of $71,893.63 to re-surface Winterberry Park parking lots
