Body
The Fire-Rescue Department Ladder Truck, a 2018 Pierce Impel 110’ Ascendant, has suffered a mechanical failure to its fire pump. During evaluation of the fire pump failure, additional service and repair needs have been identified.
This is the only Ladder Truck in the Fire Rescue Department fleet. The repairs are expected to be completed in approximately four (4) to six (6) weeks.
FUNDING SOURCE / FISCAL IMPACT:
Funding for this repair will be accomplished utilizing funds from the Fire Capital Improvement Plan, Ladder Truck project 16093.
RECOMMENDATION:
Authorize the City Manager to Execute a Purchase Order to Ten-8 Fire Equipment for repair of the Fire Rescue Department Ladder Truck in the Amount of $66,838.85
